ISFC Awards

ISFC certificate and merit badge

An angler whose claim is ratified by the ISFC will be awarded a certificate and a special commemorative badge. These awards are presented at special ceremonies held in Ireland and some international venues annually.

Irish Record Fish

The captor of an ISFC ratified Irish record fish is presented with a specially commissioned solid silver medal, in addition to a special certificate.

Special Awards

Recognising special achievements of anglers who catch specimen fish is part of the function of the ISFC. Several of these awards reward achievement over an angling career while others are once-off special awards.

The Young Specimen Angler of the Year, multiple specimen fish award winners and the ‘Fish of a Lifetime Award’ are among the categories of special awards presented annually. The full list or awards is available here.
