Weighing Scale Certification

02/02/12 The New Fish Scale calibration service for anglers has just been launched on the NSAI website (www.nsai.ie). Anglers can drop or post their scales to Paul Turner, NSAI, National Metrology Laboratory (NML), Griffith Avenue Extension, Glasnevin, Dublin 9. The charge for this service is €50 and this includes return carriage of the scale and certificate to the angler’s home address.

Scales must be working and clean to be tested and must be adequately packed if posted. NML requests that anglers download the on-line form and fill in the detail including name and address, make and model of scale, method of payment (cheque or credit/Laser card) and forward with the scale to the NML in Dublin.
